In this lecture, I describe Photoshop, the world's industry-standard photo-editing software, and explain my background, education, and qualifications to teach this course. For example, I've worked as managing editor at two graphic design magazines (one dealing with Photoshop), worked at various media (newspapers, an advertising agency, etc.) working in editorial design, and I have a BA in Communication, an MA in Journalism and Media Studies, and a PhD in Communication. I've also designed web sites and used Photoshop in various projects for clients for about 20 years.
